Last night we had an odd event happen in the Wade household. I woke up around 12:00 a.m. and realized that the sleep timer had not turned the TV off. I told Jeremy to turn the channel to Fox News (it always puts me to sleep) and for the life of us, we could not find the remote control. We looked on the nightstand, under the covers, under the bed...you name it, we looked. Keep in mind this is in the middle of the night. After a few minutes we gave up and went back to sleep. Around 2:00 in the morning, Jeremy woke me up to tell me that he had found the remote control.
Now get this...he had gone to the kitchen to get a glass of water and looked down and saw our remote control soaking with the bottles in our kitchen sink. Yes that's right...in the kitchen sink. Neither of us has any idea how it ended up floating in our sink, but I know for a fact that I do NOT sleepwalk. That leaves Jeremy, Jackson, and Macy, and none of them are talking :)
2 random thoughts:
I once caught myself putting the half-and-half in the cabinet and the coffee in the refrigerator. The point is that it happens. Welcome to the world of having too much on your mind and putting yourself into action before you put your mind into action.
And you went back to sleep without turning the TV off bc you couldnt find the remote, but you got up in the middle of the night to LOOK for the remote! Makes sense, I guess. So, no remote now-a-days, huh. Bet thats fun!
