Hey everyone. I hope ya’ll had a wonderful weekend. Mine was decent, and I will give a short recap of all new things in our world.1. Got news that our fabulous youth minister, Russell, and his so sweet wife Lyndsey, and adorable baby, Claire, have accepted a position in Guntersville, AL. We are really going to miss them. They have been such a wonderful blessing to our church, and I know that God has big things in store for them, but we just hate to see them go.
2. I made homemade macaroni-and-cheese again this weekend. It was so seriously yummy and easy to make. If you want the recipe, just ask. I am in a super generous mood.
3. Jackson had a minor reaction to eggs this weekend. Nothing serious, but I am holding off giving him eggs again until we see the pediatrician next week.
4. Jackson is now giving the sweetest kisses ever. Big open mouth slobbery kisses that just melt my heart.
5. I looked into having the dog whisperer, Cesar Milan, come work his magic on Macy. She has been so seriously bad this weekend. Unfortunately, in the midst of Jackson’s egg rash and me trying to find some Benadryl, Macy decided to help herself to the bacon I had left over on the counter. She got the beating of her life. After some research, I sadly discovered that Cesar only works his miracles in Los Angeles, San Fran, and Seattle. Anyone have any ideas of how to establish Jeremy and myself as the pack leaders in our house? Cesar would be so disappointed in us.
6. We have a pot luck at work tomorrow during lunch. I am going to make broccoli cornbread. I am already in heaven just thinking about it. Simply divine!!! Again, if you want the recipe, just let me know.
