First of all I want to give a big bloggy "Thank you" to Miranda. On Monday she called me and was telling me that her little girl Gracie was sick and had to go to the doctor. Then, she did it. She casually remarked, "I can't believe that none of your family has been sick lately." Thanks for jinxing us! That was Monday, and by Tuesday night I was sitting in Pri-med with a raging case of strep throat. Fun...
So I had a mandantory day off from work yesterday, and after cleaning up our office most of the morning, I made a strawberry cake yesterday afternoon. After Jackson got home from school I let him help me make the icing and he was hilarious!! He kept saying, "I did it!" over each little step, and let me just tell you how much that kid loved the icing. I gave him one of the mixers and he went to town! Then he just had to try a piece of cake before he went to church. 
Just like his Mommy...he loves icing!
Let's see how clean I can get this thing...

You get strep throat and make cakes and go on cleaning sprees..when I get strep throat I lay around in the bed all day and want to, you know, kinda just die. :) Way to make the most of that day off!
