Saturday a week ago Jeremy and I took Jackson to the Day Out With Thomas. Jackson staged a mini revolt before time to go because he wanted to see James, not Thomas. But by the time we got there Jackson was pretty excited. That is until it was time to get his picture made with Thomas at which point he refused to cooperate...
Luckily feeding the animals brightened his mood...
And he loved the baby cow...
After we were done with the animals it was time to check out the trains...
And Jackson loved the yellow one...
When we were done with that, it was time to check out the Train Table exhibit. Jackson could have played for hours with the "Bookstore train tables"...
Then we were off to the bubble exhibit...
And finally the guest of honor arrived!
Thomas the Train announced his arrival in style!
Jackson's first real train ride was a big hit!
We all had such a great day...
But apparently the red engine James would have made it even better!

What fun! Was this in Calera? My kids loved their train tables, but when we rode a REAL train down in Calera, they weren't so sure anymore. I think they said it was "too bumpy and loud."
