1. Do you do garage sales? If so, tell me about one great find. If not, tell me why not. Around here we call them “yard sales”, and yes, I do love a good yard sale. As far as great finds, I can’t come up with anything specific. I have found lots of books for Jackson. I did once find an old Tupperware pitcher that has become the perfect thing for washing Jackson’s hair. It only cost a quarter, so it was a great find.
2. Name the last thing you fixed. For Mother’s Day this year Jackson’s choir group made handprint molds out of concrete. It sat on my counter for weeks, and I finally decided to put it outside. That very day my Mom happened to stop by to say hello and Jackson was outside with me when she got to our house. Jackson picked up the ceramic handprint to show it to her, and you guessed it, he dropped it on the ground. It broke into 5 pieces and he was so upset. It was all I could do to calm him down. A few weeks ago I got some Gorilla glue, and very craftily managed to glue it back together without getting my fingers Gorilla glued. You should be proud of me! Now the piece is back outside, with Jackson instructed to not pick it up anymore!
3. Name your A) Favorite item of makeup OR B) Favorite tool. I love my L'Oreal Infallible foundation because it has SPF 20 which is great because I’ll never remember to put sunscreen on. I also love my eye shadow brush.
4. Which room in your home needs organizing more than any other? My living room is overrun with toys and books, and it would be so nice to have some help organizing Jackson’s stuff into a way that he could figure out how to put it back up when he’s done playing, as if that would ever happen!
5. Which room could use re-decorating? My living room. I want a fun and funky couch when we get a new house, whenever that may be.
6. Share something unique about your town. Population wise we live in the second fastest growing city in our state which is funny because it still feels like a small town to me!
7. If you could send a one-sentence message to your great-grandchild, what would it be? Love God, your family, and your neighbors, and vote conservative!
8. Do you Facebook? Who doesn’t?
9. Describe your favorite shoes. My pair of knee high black leather boots. I love them because I can wear them with pants or skirts, and the heels are pencil thin, and somehow I can still manage to walk in them. Also, they were my first pair of skinny toe shoes, and they taught me that skinny toed shoes really don’t hurt your toes, despite how they look!
10. Do you listen to more talk radio or more music radio? What kind of station is it? I love talk radio. I listen to Rick and Bubba from 7-10, then I switch to country music for an hour, and then it’s Rush Limbaugh from 11-2, Sean Hannity from 2-5 and Mark Levin until I get home. I’m obsessed with talk radio. Listening to talk radio has taught me more about politics than anything else, and I’m hooked!
11. How far would you travel for a really good (favorite) meal? 100 miles, give or take a few. It would have to be a really good meal.
12. If you were totally honest with yourself (and us) what should you probably be doing right now instead of blogging? Helping Jeremy put up laundry and then heading to bed, which is exactly what I’m about to do!
That’s it for today. Take care!

I love garage sales..that's what we call 'em here. : ) And I've gotten some pretty good deals. The best deal I ever got was two really small eye glass cases for 50 cents. I tormented over which one to buy at a quarter a piece and then thought "hellooow, its only 50 cents" so I got them both. I love them.
I have hand print stepping stone things and I was so scared they would get broken, they both sit on the hearth. Of course, I have unusual paranoia about one of them in particular. (duh)
Ya just suffer through the kid toy years. They do eventually pass.
Vote Conservative! LOVE.IT. :-)
