After taking Jeremy out for Japanese hibachi Friday night for his birthday, we came home and Jackson had the brilliant idea to go ahead and put together Anderson's crib. Obviously this was exactly the way Jeremy pictured spending his birthday evening, but Jackson would not be deterred. So we began to shift things around and starting pulling the crib out of the box. It was about 5 minutes into the assembly process that Jackson lost interest and the assembly was left to Jeremy and I.
The instructions themselves didn't seem too difficult until you realized that we only had 2 hands apiece. We worked for about an hour and a half and got 3 out of the 4 sides together before we realized that we had assembled the dumb thing backwards. So then it took another 15 minutes to undo all our hard work, reverse some of the pieces and then finish the crib.
All in all, I'm completely satisfied. We got a great deal on the crib, and I'm just glad it's put together. Here is a picture of what it looks like (from amazon's website). Now we just need to figure out how to finish turning the office into a nursery and we'll be ready to go. Good thing I have about 4 more months!

cute crib. Is is weird having the crib up in the house (or for that matter having a crib around again)?
