This pregnancy is officially kicking my butt. I've hit the wall, and it's going to be a long 12 days. We are thisclose to finishing the nursery, and I'm so ready. It's been a very long journey, and I'm really pleased with the results. We have just a few more things to add to the walls and then I will post pictures. I'm super pleased with the room, and I can't wait to show you Anderson's neck of the woods.I still haven't packed my bag for the hosptial. Every day I say, "this" is the day that I'm going to get it done, and then I don't. Apparently impending labor does nothing to change my level of procastination.I'm still needing a few more ideas for Jackson's big brother gift. We've decided to do a gift from Jackson to Anderson (already done), a gift from Anderson to Jackson, and then one from Jeremy and I to Jackson. Jackson has been extremely jealous of the shower gifts for Anderson, and I definitely don't want him to think that he's been forgotten. I bought Jackson a real T-ball bat and t-balls, a color wonder set, and I still feel like I need something else. Any ideas? I'm also planning on doing a little activity bag for Jackson with crayons, coloring book and stuff like that for the hosptial. I guess I just need to add it to my list of stuff to do. Sadly my list keeps getting longer, and not much is getting crossed off! Speaking of gifts, I'm completely caught up with thank you notes. It feels so good to say that! And lastly, we were invited to go to the lake this weekend. I was a little nervous because I'm past the point where I'm allowed to travel, and the lake is about an hour away. I called the Dr's office and I got the okay to travel, but then the conversation took a sharp turn:Nurse: "Did you say you were going to the lake?"
Me: "Yes, we are going to Lay Lake."
Nurse: "You know that you aren't allowed to ride a boat unless it is a pontoon boat, right?"
Me: "Are you kidding? They have a ski boat."
Nurse: "That would be a no-go. We can't have you being jostled like that on a ski boat. Did I just ruin your day?"
Me: "Pretty much."
Oh well, at least I'll still have a great time at the lake, even if I am the only one left sitting on the dock!
Anything you need to confess? Have a great weekend!

I so feel for you. It's getting hot and you're miserable. I delivered at the end of August. Let that little jewel sink in! : p So sorry the nurse popped your bubble, but it's better to be safe. Hope you have a great weekend anyway. : )
