(Almost) Wordless Wednesday

Jackson has Flip Factory at school every Tuesday afternoon at school. He has learned so many tricks from his gymnastics classes. He loves it, and we love seeing him show us his new skills, when we can actually get him to show us what he's learned!

When I Get Bigger

Jackson had us cracking up laughing last night. It all started with Jeremy went to give him his dose of allergy medicine. Jackson grabbed the medicine dropper and told Jeremy that he wanted to do it "ALL BY MYSELF!" Well, Jeremy had to help him anyways, and as soon as he swallowed the medicine, Jackson jumps up onto the couch, points his finger at Jeremy and (as he's shaking his pointer finger at Jeremy) says, "Next time I take that medicine I will be bigger and I will do it ALL BY MYSELF!"

Jeremy and I started laughing so hard. Without missing a beat, Jackson looks at both of us and said, "Seriously, you guys, you need to calm down!" The only thing that would have made it cuter would be if he had used the phrase, "y'all" instead of "you guys." No offense to my Northern readers, but "you guys" is so Yankeeish, and for the life of me, Jackson will not say, "y'all" no matter how much I try to get him to repeat it. I'm working on it though!

And y'all, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was such a good movie. It wasn't exactly like the book, but I have to give them credit that they did a really good job on the movie. I guess it's rather difficult turning a 700 page book into a 2 1/2 hour movie, but I was definitely pleased. I'm dying to go see it again! Have a great Monday!

Spring has Sprung

Y'all, it was GORGEOUS this weekend. Clear skies, wonderful temps, amazingly perfect! I so wanted to plant new flowers and start my garden this weekend, but I know that we will more than likely have at least one more good cold snap before Easter. The last thing I need is new flowers and vegetables freezing to death. It is only the middle of March!

We had the good fortune that Jackson happened to sleep in until 8:00 Saturday morning, and then we were off in a hurry running errands. After a super busy morning, we sent Jackson off to Nana and Tata's house to spend the night and Jeremy and I went and watched Race to Witch Mountain and then had dinner at Olive Garden. I have to say that the movie was pretty good! Yesterday after church and nap time, we spent several hours just playing in the back yard where Jackson had a blast. It was such a nice weekend, and we all had a great time. I need more weekends like that! Enjoy the pictures from Jeremy's trip to Mississippi!

Joy Ride

This is a new game that Jackson loved on Saturday. He did this over and over, laughing hysterically the entire time!

I think he's getting just a tad bit confused here...

We are teaching Jackson to say, "Trick or Treat...give me something good to eat" for Halloween. You have got to watch these videos. He is too funny!!

In the first video he is using his new "scary" voice that is sure to win some folks over with his charm!!


In this next video he transitions from his scary voice to channeling Tiger Woods.

In this last video he is all over the place. I seriously have no idea where he comes up with this stuff. He also video debuts his new funny face in which he scrunches up his face until you can't even see his eyes. I have laughed until I cried over this new funny face, which he always chooses to do when I am trying to get on to him for something. He knows he is being cute, which in turn means he is just irresistible!!

His name is Jackson, but you can call him "Tiger." He's so talented he can even brush his teeth as he is playing golf. I bet you've never seen Tiger do that...

Jackson has started saying thank you (with and without prompting). We caught him Sunday morning thanking everyone. He even thanks Macy when she walks by him. It's too funny, and oh so cute!

20 months old!
